D’ArtsFest is a weekend festival for adults with learning disabilities in Devon.
There is something for everyone with a range of creative workshops and musical performances held over the weekend. Adults with learning disabilities, their family, friends and carers are all welcome!
Music, arts, food, camping and more!
In 2022 had wonderful music from bands Stepping Out, The Rockeries, Mark Travis, Alley Katz, Supermercardos, Shine Music and many more.
Other activities included Indian dancing, Taiko Drumming, Boo to a Goose Theatre and a DJ disco. We had some great food and drink vendors on site, with fish and chips, a bar, tea coffee, lots of cake, and an ice cream bicycle.
A special weekend on a beautiful Devon farm!
Speaking after the 2022 event founder Judith Hedley-Dent, said: “It was a wonderful weekend and great to be back on with the festival after a three-year gap. We were lucky with the weather as usual in the beautiful setting of West Town Farm and we are thankful to all our sponsors and supporters.
“There was much joy, laughter and friendship. As one arts worker wrote “Brilliant event and brilliant people. Exactly how a truly inclusive festival should be run”
